Re: Mercedes E63S thread
Alignment. He installed my camber bolt in the forward thrust arm, which is incorrect. I don't know why he did this. He should have installed it in the main spring control arm and adjusted it to pull inboard. He said he pulled the adjustment inboard on the thrust arm for what that's worth. WIS has a ...

Re: 14 E63S: forged wheel search
Last shot on the factory wheels. 20240518_075512.jpg This is the only shot I have of the new wheels and I will explain why, somewhere. 20240518_103918.jpg The tech actually popped the center caps out from my old wheels and installed them in the new ones. I said I might buy the black 5 spoke center c...

Re: 2017 GLS550 135k Service
That's a common leak. It's just sealant. The passenger side is easier. Probably have to remove the boost pipes which can get stuck down at the turbos. Driver's side will probably require removal of the oil filter adapter and maybe oil cooler. It would make sense to do new seals on ANYTHING you distu...

Re: Caprice engine swap?
Just a few short years later and that's it. Engine, transmission and rear axle was pulled. Maybe a few other odds and ends. It was junked yesterday. Here are some pics. IMG_1584.jpg IMG_1597.jpg IMG_1598.jpg IMG_1593.jpg I asked Bing Copilot for a commemorative poem which was pretty awesome. Here is...

Re: W213 E63S Search
It's weird that both VIN Decoderz and EPC couldn't read the VIN.
Re: Oil use
59.3 gal @ $2.95. Exeter fuel is $3.35 at this quantity and still $3.13 at 500+ gal.
