Water in basement

Had water in basement in Jan. Actually had to vacuum it out. I identified several possibilities and addressed them: - Some vent on the siding was letting in water and soaking the sheathing and sill plate. I have a few pics of the fix that I'll post. - Downspout in the rear of the house may have caus...

- The sport suspension says it is lower, and the springs/shocks are stiffer. Hopefully this is not on original shocks but probably? Geez, the shocks are pretty affordable. Front sport shocks: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=6320526&cc=1443221&pt=7556&jsn=480&_nck=ZExt1ys...

14 E63S: reset wet clutch adaptations

This was shockingly easy although the Launch Creader Elite 2.0 Benz would not do it. So I used Xentry on the laptop. The procedure was super simple. Just had to be in the tranny temp range and it went to work. It took less than 10 minutes. I thought it was going to be this whole thing that required ...

https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/163-1309-2014-jeep-grand-cherokee-v-6-and-v-8-first-tests/ Summary: - The V8 was 342 lbs heavier but some of that was the extra equipment - V8 was 1.1 seconds faster 0-60 which you would definitely notice - V8 was 0.9 seconds faster in the 1/4 and 4.4 mph faster. Re: CLK550/E550 hunt for Adam

And a gift. I had to do this manually from VIN Decoderz which I don't really understand. Apparently it does have power trunk closer, for your convenience. It's unclear if the base headlights are halogen or HID. I suspect they are HID like my E55 had. They weren't great - I read the bi-xenons were be...

Re: CLK550/E550 hunt for Adam

Here is some recommended maintenance/inspections to put on the list: - Replace oil centrifuge (bolted to passenger side exhaust cam at rear of head) - clean TB and generally inspect tube for oil - you don't want oil in the intake on these due to the swirl valve thingy inside - Inspect all 4 cam posi...
