Maybe you can do Uber Black with it.

This limo would fulfill a childhood fantasy of mine. For the modest sum of $2200 and a whole bunch of arguments with my wife.

People are all about 3 row SUVs, so what's wrong with a 3 row Fleetwood? :)

Parking it anywhere would be incredibly annoying.

Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham - $5000 (West Warwick)
1992 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with all the bells and whistles. Car has been garaged for several years and is in very good condition. Big v8 engine and plush suspension makes this thing like driving a cloud with a jet engine strapped to the back.

Contact me if you'd like to take a look.
So...that's not a 92. It's not even a 93. Judging from the side view mirror style and LT1 engine, that would make it a 94.

5 grand is not going to happen. Especially not as presented. Keep dreaming buddy.

Not sure this made it up there yet:

It is a Fleetwood. Needs some work, $1,550 doesn't sound firm. Allegedly under 30K miles. Paint isn't great but if you got this fro a little over 1K, and put 1K into paint/minor body work, this could be pretty nice for maybe under $2,500.

I don't like the looks of those as much as the updated 90-92. But more critically, that is most likely saddled with the abominable HT4100. A Cadillac site says it has a 3.42 and 200-4R but I assure you it is still a slug.

125 hp @ 4200 rpm
190 lb-ft @ 2200 rpm

190 lb-ft. From a V8. Jamie's Malibu had that much torque.

Either that or it has a diesel. The diesels that year were either the 4.3 V6 or 5.7 V8 diesel. Turns out the 4.3 diesel was the diesel when you had a FWD Fleetwood. The Fleetwood Brougham gave you the 350 diesel.

To be completely honest I would prefer the 350 diesel given these sad choices. It is at least interesting. The HT4100 was just bad.

Oh, how much power did the NON-TURBO diesels have, you ask? Make sure you sit down.

The 4.3 V6 diesel in the FWD Fleetwood:
85 hp @ 3600 rpm (3600, like a lawn mower)
165 lb-ft @ 1600 rpm

The 5.7L diesel in the RWD Brougham:
105 hp @ 3200 rpm (doesn't even rev as high as a lawn mower)
200 lb-ft @ 1600 rpm (more torque and at a lower rpm than the HT4100)

I'd like the diesel because I'd fool around with it. And it would probably get halfway decent fuel economy. But still. 1985 was a SAD year.

Made the Olds 307 available in 1986 seem like a hot rod at 140 hp.

The nice thing about the 90-92 with the L05 is, you get 185 hp or so with fuel injection so you can actually just drive it as is if you wanted.

This 85 is desperately calling for an engine swap. I don't like the cloth though.

If you don't like the style it is obviously out. I like the 80's styles but really, anything from this time period needs to be swapped.

It's not that I don't like it, I just really like the 90-92 final refresh of that 77-92 Brougham. Those are, not surprisingly, worth the most money, by a long shot. Both due to the styling and the semi-modern engines they got. Plus ABS, though no air bags.

By the time you pay 90-92 Brougham money, you could just have an LT1 Fleetwood. Or, the black sheep 93, which gets you the "modern" 93-96 styling, plus dual air bags, ABS, traction control, and all that jazz. Stock for stock, given the same purchase cost, I'd obviously much prefer a 90-92 over a 93 since they have the same engine. But the 93 is worth significantly less than the 90-92.

I wonder if I could bribe Jamie to get behind the wheel of this.
