Apparently many of these Cadillacs have a fuse or two or three that control certain things like the 12V outlets in the car. Well, those fuses have 3 blades and depending on which position you put the fuse, you can select RAP or hot all the time. That is really cool. I will have to check mine. Not that I want to change anything - I think my outlets are powered all the time. For a radar detector, you'd want it on RAP instead. So it depends what you are doing.
