2014 Toyota Sienna side mirror replacement

Post by kevm14 »

No pics but this was easy.

There are like 10 push retainers for the door panel. Then 3 hidden screws. One under a trim piece in where the door handle pull is. One holds a rubber bumper on that actually closes against the body. And one is under the power window switch panel. Remove that and unplug it. Oh, and be sure to pull the trim piece that covers the mirror bolts/nuts. Door panel comes off easily, just a little groove on top, nothing crazy.

Disconnect the mirror harness. Remove like 6 bolts/nuts and pull the mirror off the door. Installation is the reverse of removal. Took me 45 minutes.

Joe found a used color matched and feature matched mirror (power, heated, lane change alert, no memory) for $100 on eBay. He has also had this done at the dealer. They wanted over $400 for that. This was quite a savings. He may have taken an unflattering pic of me laying on the ground finding the retainers. I'll get my hands on it and post it.
