I am going to make a bold, but not really that bold, prediction: cars will not be the focus of this company going forward. I don't know that they really want to be in the very competitive car market unless they think the high MSRPs are sustainable. I think they will do all kinds of other things related to energy, including solar and battery stuff.
And so, at some point, when their other business can sustain them, they'll stop acting like they are going to ramp up production and make a big dent in the automotive market. But only then, because to do so prematurely will tank their stock.
