Also, I may have been towed if you hadn't shown me the MAF disconnect trick all those years ago.

So, I should thank you for that.

I went to replace my wastegate actuator, and discovered that the boost pressure line running to the wastegate was cracked around nearly its entire radius. This may have been causing the entire problem.. 5 feet of new 6mm silicone hose ordered to replace all the boost lines on the car. Not sure if the issue was really the actuator at this point. I will probably replace the lines and take her for a spin.

If this hose has been damaged the whole time, then it would dump boost to atmosphere whenever the ECU commanded the wastegate to open. This would cause a massive boost leak, and probably return the car to base boost. Base boost mean that the boost would leak out that same line for the rest of the drive.

What I don't get, is why this would not cause the car to throw a check engine light from loosing all that metered air.
