So I guess I’ll pass on the bundle and stick with MaxLife for the 8HP70(D?) (I’m not sure if I have the D designation or not)

I think it will work fine but I would try to change 100% of it.

Need to add to the list since I've now driven the Jeep some. Terrible front rotor/steering wheel vibration when stabbing the brakes at high speed. Rotors appear new, some grime on pads make them look less-brand-new. Weird. I'm wondering if the dealer did the cheapest possible brake job and put seriously cheap rotors on the front.

Not sure what to buy - considering something like this from RockAuto for pads and rotor:
RAYBESTOS 1455H780870E3 Element3; Coated Rotors With Hybrid Technology Brake Pads; Includes Hardware $144.79

I believe all V8 models got the heavy duty brakes - kinda weird that RockAuto doesn't know that if it's true.

I also should try to find some fender-flare/trim attachment clips since the passenger rear door seems to be kinda loose and the drivers bumper-to-fender-trim is also loose. The bumper has to come off for tow attachment install, so I should try to get all of the right stuff to put on while I have that removed.

There's almost no brake pulse at low-medium speeds. I wonder if there is a marginal tie-rod end or similar that minor brake vibration is aggravating into a lot of steering wheel jerk. I should investigate further. Maybe this is finally a reason to buy a "real" magnetic dial indicator setup so I can check rotor runout.

Get it up to 80 and stand on the brakes. Not really joking.

You're thinking glazing/uneven slick surfaces on the rotors?

Yes especially with cheap pads.

Tried some 80-40 hard stops - seems better but not completely resolved. I’ll try to do some more, and I wonder if some of it might be some weird detailing crap that changed rotor surface friction - if that’s the case it’ll wear off. I wonder if I should just at least change pads again (where I’ll also drain brake fluid and refresh).

ZF oil pan came in. I need to compare depth to the one on the Jeep as soon as I can to see if it matches.
