I pulled the plug on verizon and am planning to switch to a Cox internet only plan. So I need a cable modem. I currently have a netgear "nighthawk" ac1750 router. Was thinking of getting a netgear docsis 3.0 cm500 modem...

Thanks. I looked at both, they seem pretty close. Went with the netgear because it's in a visible place next to the router, and they're the same color. Because as we all know, color is the most important feature of any tech product.
