Any of you that have seen the Riviera know that the paint/clear-coat is in terrible. I tried to bring it back using some Mother's polishing products I have, plus clay bar. I didn't take that many pictures, but these should show some results.

This is the hood, but is pretty representative of the whole car.

Hood after polishing and waxing. You can still see scratches, but it is shinyer.

This is the roof to pillar transition, I had already polished the pillar in this shot.

Its a much better looking 20' car now. Maybe I'll take a 20' shot tomorrow to compare with the photos from when I bought it.

What this paint really needs is that wet sanding + new clear-coat thing Kevin linked to. Maybe next year.

I was just about to suggest that. It would be a good trial.

Polishing clear cost that is failing is not going to last. I tried this on my Caprice a long time ago and all it did was accelerate the issue.
