Apparently there is more trouble on the slave end which is not addressed by this TSB.
This is true, it's ultimately what drove me to replace my entire clutch assembly. Lucky for me it made noise before it ever completely failed. Replacing the bearing support with an aluminum one it's the number one fix this clutch system needs.

You will probably fine for a long time and I wouldn't do anything until there is signs of a serious issue.

This is good.
Reporting in from post-TSB work:

WOW, the clutch pedal feels AMAZING. All i can say about the new assembly is how much better it is. First, the clutch is very "linear" now, vs almost a "double motion" in my stock SS clutch pedal assembly. Second, the clutch grabs much closer to the floor...where as i felt my SS pedal assembly grabbed almost towards the very top of the pedal motion.

To reply directly to your last post quoted from the other forum, that is exactly why I was interested in this. More linear, grabbing lower. That seems good.

Also:
May be the ZL1 clutch pedal (includes return spring I guess) and master cylinder, though. I guess the other good point here is that there is nothing wrong with your clutch - it's the actuation part of it that is the issue.
I know. I didn't mean to say the actual clutch, but the pedal/spring, etc. I wasn't clear.

What's funny is I always characterized my CTS-V as feeling odd after driving my first gen 5 Camaro. Turns out the Camaro was the odd one.

Tire talk:

So I got a nail in the rear tire... Looking at options. Here is some discussion:

I want to drive this car. I also kind of want a second set of rims so I can half a set of all-seasons for the cold weather when there is no snow but too cold for the stock tires.

Right now I am between:
Get a set of junkyard rims/tires and just put the back wheels on and drive, and have a second set of wheels
Replace the back tires with what came with the car
Put all seasons on now (all around)
I might get a second opinion on a patch

So this is not cool:

Apparently the LS3 has a known issue with the oil pump that grenades the engine.

I have not heard of this but potential applicability is wide. Hopefully it is very uncommon (it must be given how many potential cars are effected) but other than monitoring oil pressure I'm not sure there is much you can do unless you want to do a prevantative replacement of the pump.

Looks like it started in 07. LS6 not listed. Yay.
