The intro blew my mind. Portable tablet with hand writing recognition. The mind blowing part was he was like "you can take this thing home, put a keyboard on it, and all of a sudden you've got a desktop computer." Now that sounds like something we've seen recently, particularly from Microsoft with Windows 8 hybrid systems.

If you wanted a color laptop in 1989, that was $8500. And it wasn't really a laptop. It was a portable computer. Outlet required, and, the best part, only 18 pounds!
