HTPC bad video card?

I cleaned and reseated and no difference.

Ha, found my old ATI HD4670 (basement). Fixed. I think the fan in the other one may have died. The fan in this one is much bigger. The other card was a 2008 Dell issue. I built this machine in 2009 - still going.

I had actually powered this system down for a couple weeks because of this. It was actually caught in a reboot cycle where it would run chkdsk on itself, almost get into Windows and then restart. I don't know how long it was doing that before I noticed.

But yeah, nasty video artifacting and just weird graphical anomalies. I should have checked to see if the fan was turning on that old Dell card (also an HD4670). Not like I would repair it I guess...the after market HD4670 has a much larger fan and overall better cooling. And it works just fine now.
