Of course, for the price, it better be. This particular flight was $1500/hr. That is an expensive way to travel.

International first class is the last true luxury experience left in flying. I have only flown international first class once (on Asiana Airlines from JFK to Seoul). Let's just say after 13 hours on the plane, I didn't want to leave

I have flown international business class a number of times to Asia and that is also very enjoyable, but not quite as luxurious.

For my honeymoon, my wife and I went to Greece. Originally, I had pictured going first class (since it's our honeymoon and figured why not). However, when I saw the price tag (we were also looking for non-stop), that quickly changed (the price of the tickets alone were about the price of the rest of the honeymoon). Instead, we paid for the Delta Comfort (since we flew Dleta) and I felt that was totally worth it. Delta Comfort was an extra $149 per person as oppose to spending thousands of dollars on just a plane ticket. And with the comfort level, you still got priority boarding, free alcoholic drinks (or at least beer or wine), more movies/tv options, and more leg room. So at this point, I don't think I'll ever travel first class internationally unless someone else is paying.
