Aside from the false high oil temp issue (well documented ground issues), I think these have a wide range of chassis feel depending on the particular example. Variables that impact drivability, dynamics and neutrality:
- Tires
- Engine mounts (it's a feel thing, even though they are not part of the suspension)
- Alignment (I have fairly aggressive camber at the front)
- Shocks (FG2 is a requirement imo - get 100k on the regular FE4 shocks and I don't think anyone is going to be overly impressed)
- Anti-roll bar bushings (clunking)
- Other driveline parts like diff bushings, driveshaft giubos or driveshaft center bearing
Overall Matt liked it but I think a good example holds up well - a regular example with all original parts at 100k not as much. This likely applies to a lot of other performance vehicles, and also depends how hard you actually try to push it. At 6 or 7 10ths you are not going to notice much or care. Matt doesn't drive hard...

I just watched this. I am impressed with this car, especially for $10k. I liked how Matt noted the superior solidity compared to the C5. I think this makes sense.
