Daylight Saving Time
Re: Daylight Saving Time
I never said it was from your computer. It is the server time, but corrected with your time zone and DST setting. phpBB cannot and should not assume that you are in the same time zone as the server and just throw that time into the post. So it corrects it according to your settings. Which is why you need to maintain that setting twice a year.
Re: Daylight Saving Time
Set your DST back to on or else your forum time will be an hour behind. In the user control panel, go to Board Preferences. It is the second from the bottom.
Solution summary: phpBB should know about DST rules and when you tell it you are on EST, it should handle all DST settings for you. Maybe if I ran the newest version of phpBB it already has that feature. That would be nice.

Re: Daylight Saving Time
I am opting out of this.
Re: Daylight Saving Time
Opting out of DST? Or changing your forum time setting to be correct?
Re: Daylight Saving Time
I would like to opt out of both.
Re: Daylight Saving Time
Reminder to turn off DST in your user control panel...
