Hagens Berman, the same Seattle law firm that filed claims against Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, and Fiat Chrysler for rigging diesel emissions tests, is putting the spotlight on Ford. It claims that 2011–2017 F-250 and F-350 pickups with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 were equipped with the same Bosch “defeat device” used by VW and other automakers. The lawsuit is seeking up to $4.2 billion, according to managing partner Steve Berman, for damages affecting more than 500,000 vehicles.

Re: Dirty Ford?
Guy makes a good point. However, now the standard has been set so everyone needs to be judged by the same criteria. Kinda like how you were definitely NOT going to be the first kid to graduate high school with a failing average by bitching that "standardized testing is a farce." Everyone else did it, now it's your turn.Whether its standardized school requirements, consumer reports scores, or vehicle emissions, the common thread in all cases is teaching/designing something specifically to pass/score well on a certain test, regardless of how the outcomes might be affected later by real-life conditions.
This type of litigation serves nobody who works for a living, and only drives up the cost of doing business, with "solutions" that rarely live up to their promise.
