I thought it was sliders / rollers like my B-bodies but I wonder if this is what is going on.

If so this looks like a $0 repair. It is the passenger window.

Re: 99 Dodge Ram window off track
Wow, I have to replace the whole regulator unless I do a DIY like that guy.
Regulator is on the order of $40 or $60 with motor. Plus the Dorman rivet kit to reinstall for another $4. Well that's annoying. Not sure yet. Actually, I think the next step is to remove the door panel and see if the window popped out of the clamps or if a roller is broken.
And just for Bill, this part is the same design with manual or power windows. The motor and switch works fine...

Re: 99 Dodge Ram window off track
The glass may have gone back into the clamps....not entirely sure. But it seemed to work OK today. Maybe it's not the rollers after all. That would be good. Should still take a look at some point, or else I'll end up with no window in the middle of summer. The A/C leaks so....that isn't guaranteed, either.
Re: 99 Dodge Ram window off track
Rolled the window down and back up today. It was fine. Fixed forever? Maybe just don't close the door hard when the window is part way down. Maybe it is just loose in the clamps.
