Partly that. Maybe cheaper to buy relative to the overall speed/power you get.

Although Mustangs seem to be notorious for failing to put the power down properly. Read any Mustang review other than the current GT350 or GT500 and it's always the one that can do easy burnouts while the Camaro is too busy hooking up.

I'll let you know when I have tires that don't require 90 degree temps...
