14 E63S: missing bumper trim?

Post by kevm14 »

I don't know where this went or how long it was missing, or if it was ever on my car while I've owned it...

But something is missing at the bottom center of the front bumper.

I think it's 207 or 208 on the diagram.

I think I need part 213 to more securely attach...

But it is snapped into place and seems secure on the second try.

I was able to jam this in through the lower grill. I am still not sure if this is right. The dealer sold me some metal pop rivets that fit various things in the front bumper but I feel the plastic push rivet is more correct. Next time I have the car in the air I'll try to remember to remove the front underbody cover to see if there are exposed areas to insert a couple more.
