Still seems to be the "best" deal going. I don't remember seeing the "deleted" note in my earlier reads of the listings.

I considered calling a local diesel tuning shop to do a pre-purchase inspection. I wonder if they could package all of the things needed to un-delete to send with the truck if I wanted them to. I don't think I'd get through CT emissions without un-deleting.

It's going to be potentially prohibitively expensive to put everything back. And that's just a real shame. There has to be a way to get through CT emissions deleted. Those systems are problematic, to say the least.

I guess my thought was to find a comparable (maybe lower mileage) truck that the tuning shop was deleting to get all of the used OEM hardware as a kit. If they do a lot of deletes, it might be worth having them install if they're super familiar with all of the hardware and tuning. My suspicion is that getting emissions inspected in CT will really not be possible if I don't put at least cosmetic stuff back in.

There's the Montana, Maine, or Vermont registration routes, but them I'm not supposed to park/garage in CT for more than 30 days.

I think I'll call it the CTRL-Z mod?

A deleted L5P with Allison 1000 sounds like a winning combo. You know, aside from the CP4.
