I will take a look tonight for the pickup tube o-ring. I am assuming when you unbolt the bottom access cover, you will be staring at the pickup which will probably be in the way of accessing the level switch. But not sure. Again my S550 is the M273.

I don't know but when compatibility says 98 SLK and the part begins with 124, that would be your first two clues....W124 was the E class made from like 1984-1995 or something.

I picked up the oil level sensor, an o-ring, and one aluminum bolt that I snapped on the way to work this morning. Hopefully the lower pan is easy to pull during an oil change tonight.

I meant to ask, is the garage start noise any different?
