If you don't have time for all the videos in the series, skip to the last one for the summary of his final setup plus battery bank and inverter setup. I want to do this.

Along the same vein, he explains his battery bank evolution.

The intro of the video tells me this guy would be a good asset on my forum. Fixes old shit instead of throwing it away? Come on in.

Maybe we should come up with projects that would solve a problem, and we could post the steps to make the project. It would be a little more proactive than waiting for stuff to break and posting the repair. It is also easier to document. I find that a lot of times if I am repairing something, it is something I need to get fixed so I am pressed for time and am usually filthy and not as inclined to use my phone to take pictures.

Good news. Between cars and homes, I don't think we'll be waiting long.

But seriously, it's true. I have tried to take more pictures when doing some jobs. Often I just end up trying to use words to describe something and I think people tend to prefer pictures.

If you had a real project, I guess you could put it in the Energy section.
