Throwback Thursday

Post by Bob »

I saw a high school aged kid driving a Civic Si pull the ebrake while taking a corner in my neighborhood. Reminded me of my younger days. That is all.

Both you and Bill are enjoying infant care at home right now. So you have that in common.

Yes, one of the side benefits of infant care is I get to see how the high school kids drive through the neighborhood.

Even though I am a dad, I still feel like I am not old because I didn't immediately become outraged at the immature driving.

Yeah, I am in the same boat. We got about a foot and a half of snow and I definitely threw the Corolla around the driveway liberally "testing" the e-brake. I have a really long driveway that has a turn before the house. I am happy to report that the e-brake still works.

E-brake turns in the Corolla were one of my signature moves in high school. That car had a great e-brake. It was capable of locking up the rear wheels at 30 MPH.
