That may be true but vehicles like my Caprice and Ranger have shown no adverse effects from E10 gas. I don't have gas expiration problems in my small engines, either, as I run Sta-Bil in every tank (the 2-1/2 gallon tank always has it so every fill up on my small engines also gets it). I never run the gas down after the season and haven't had any issues. There’s more. I find that gasoline, which used to last about a year and a half or two years, is pretty much done after a month or so these days. If I run a car from the teens or ’20s and fill it up with modern fuel, then it sits for more than two months, I often can’t get it to start.
