Was browsing this for reasons I don't need to go into: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Citation

At the bottom, I noticed a funny little piece of info:

A Chevrolet Citation was also used by Volvo for testing new engine and drivetrain components while developing their Galaxy project, which resulted in the Volvo 850.

It actually makes sense. Volvo had zero FWD cars to use as powertrain development mules.
