This was actually really cool to watch.

He covers the things you don't need to fret over, and the things you should. Some of the things he does would definitely make some folks cringe, but I trust this guy. I like his comments on mileage. He runs the stock timing set, doesn't ever worry about the cam bearings, and doesn't even mark the pushrods when removing them.

What gaskets do you usually replace when doing this? Just wondering because I see that you didn't replace the timing cover gasket or the valve cover gaskets. Love your vids! Keep it up!

+coldoath none of them, i don't replace any.
Dude doesn't replace a single gasket or seal. Love it. Then he makes 700hp on that 275k mile LQ4.

He is reporting awesome results. Great drivability, no issues. Drives like stock. Do want.

Also, make sure you check out his badass air filter on the turbo.
