A/W: Mustang GT350R wheels won't cost $30k
Re: A/W: Mustang GT350R wheels won't cost $30k
HAHAHAHA! That is awesome!
Re: A/W: Mustang GT350R wheels won't cost $30k
I can't say the Sonic is the world's most exciting car but it's a respectable entrant (not as a hot hatch though). Obviously it's no match for any high performance Fiesta.
Re: A/W: Mustang GT350R wheels won't cost $30k
I really regret Bill bringing up hot hatches, because I did not. But with that said: http://www.autotrader.com/car-reviews/2 ... ter-225721
Ok, that's it.Reliability
Neither of these small cars is a reliability rock star, based on data from Consumer Reports and J.D. Power, but the Chevy Sonic appears to deliver a solidly average performance in this regard, while the Ford Fiesta ranks below average. Plus, the Sonic's warranty includes 40,000 extra miles of powertrain coverage and roadside assistance compared to the Fiesta. For both cars, though, the warranty is limited to five years.
Given these findings, the Chevy Sonic appears to be the more reliable choice.
Re: A/W: Mustang GT350R wheels won't cost $30k
I am not ready to concede that because a base fiesta has less than awesome reliability that that transfers to a Focus RS. I would say that the 20K price difference makes this comparison a non starter, and nobody was proposing that the base fiesta was good or sporty, which this whole conversation was about.
You have dragged the base fiesta into this to compare Chevy to Ford and that is the only car you can use because Chevy doesn't make a cool small car like Ford does.
This is degrading fast.

For fuck's sake, it's CRUZE.
And that Ken Block shit is old hat.
Besides, I don't see a point to the hot hatch. Much of the attraction is vague affordability. But that's only because they don't appeal to grown ups with real money. Also, the correct thing to do is buy much nicer cars used, for a lot less money.

I don't understand what happened with this conversation. All I said (well, it's what I meant) was the Mustang is the only RWD-based vehicle that Ford makes that is sporty. Everything else is FWD-based.
