But that's why the Gen III+ GM V8s are so awesome. Torque, drivability, but they also breathe at the upper end. Wind it out, or don't. Part throttle or WOT. There is no wrong way to drive it.

And since they aren't boat anchors (size/weight), cars that could never dream of those kind of N/A numbers can enjoy these characteristics, often without sacrificing much for MPG. And, no, I'm not saying put an LS into an Integra.

But it does influence my expectations of how an engine should behave, rightly or wrongly. And if the worst thing people can say is "well, everyone is doing it" then I think that's pretty good.

Did you just accidently stumble upon an actual use for the LS4 besides a Fiero?

No because there's something about 4 cylinder N/A FWD cars that probably should not be tainted by a V8. It just doesn't work like the way it does in a car such as the 240SX.
