I finally drove a 93 RX-7 about 7-8 years ago back to back with my Elise and I was not disappointed. That car is still on my list of cars to own when I have a 6 car garage someday. Of course, I would prefer it with an LS engine.
I have also driven the Impala SS and S2000. When I was shopping for a more agile, communicative car to replace my C5 Z06, I test drove an S2000 and left the drive a bit underwhelmed. Ultimately, my Elise ended up being what I had hoped the S2000 would be. Since then, I have spent more seat time in the S2000 and I have grown to appreciate it, but it still isn't a car I have any desire to own, even as a Honda fan-boy.

Article in a UK magazine about getting into a Roadmaster.

The Roadmaster's stock performance with the LT1 I think is still considered significantly above average in European terms (lots of small diesel engines making not much power). Whereas US market base Accords today are about as fast.

That's because the S2000 is too sanitized. It's probably not any more athletic than any 3-series with an M-sport suspension upgrade.

An incredibly well-researched article. Very thorough.
