There is a video in the link of the whole lap. It is a little tough to see how close to the edge he is taking it.
But seeing as how Sport Auto only had a writer behind the wheel, and not a hot shoe like ride and handling engineer Bill Wise (who set the GM record in the ZL1 1LE), it’s likely that the car could have gone even faster.
