We've found no less than 3 spelling errors in the owner's manual. Dammit GM!

Ordered the transmission parts plus filters/plugs/wipers/coolant tank. The transmission parts won't be delivered until January. I also ordered the transmission seal installation tool set off eBay for $20.

It definitely does. Should work well with new wipers.
Yeah, its only 8 speakers. It sounds pretty good from my experience during the drive home using the radio. There are lots of settings I haven't explored yet, though. Need to read the manual. It looks like it can save 2 drivers worth of seat, mirror and radio settings, so that's something.
Yeah, the memory does more than the seats. Features like this become really useful when a car has more than one driver. It might even save the climate control settings. I saw the remote - looked like the standard GM remote of the era (same as my CTS-V, and Jamie's 2000 Malibu). So no remote start right?

No remote start, but there is a #1 and #2 remote that are tied to driver settings. Also there is no panic button but there 8s a fuel door button on the remote.

This is one of the few used cars I've seen come with all the keys and remotes.

That's because it's a one owner and didn't go through some auction.

FYI if any of you are even in a situation where you inherit a car due to a relative's death, do yourself a favor and transfer it to your name, even if you plan to sell it. The state still needs all the same paperwork (death certificate, executor paperwork, etc...), but you will provide that to the state yourself right then rather than have to supply it to whoever you sell the car to in order to supply it to the state months later.

You'll never guess what happened. Also, the executor is out of state for the week so maybe next week Jenn will have all the paperwork needed to register the car. Sigh...

I bought a house under those conditions. It's way worse.

I can only image. Hopefully the discount was worth the hassle.
