Strut was delivered yesterday.
Looks good. I think the paint was still drying. They are fast. I'll install it Sat morning. Should take 5 mins.

Putting this here for torque specs.

Re: 07 S550: low front right
Final quick test. Had an ABS issue when I started it but it turns out it is too smart. It knew I unplugged the wheel speed sensor but I never even turned the ignition on. It was stored so I assume if I rolled the car and it got a signal, it would have stopped with the scary warning message. However, since I have DAS I just reset it and it was happy. I also ended up manually pressurizing the right front to 7 bar because I couldn't get the system to sort of take over automatically just by slowly lowering the car. Once I set the front right to 7 bar to match the left, I dropped the car down and it became happy and finished leveling the car. Without a scan tool I am not 100% sure how I would have dealt with this. The real concern is dropping the car down without enough air pressure in the bag, because it folds them up in the wrong places and can damage them. There may be a way but again, I have DAS (and the Launch tool) so it was fine.

Road tested. Car seems perfect. I didn't try that strut test because I know it will pass. Car is level and everything is working correctly.
AIRmatic info.
I drove around watching the level sensors and this system is constantly adjusting itself. It almost seems to be doing some ABC things (but obviously at a slower rate). I can't tell for sure but it may try to adjust for road crown and level the car (the sensor reads at the 1 mm increment which absolutely will show road crown). By leveling the car on the lower side (road crown), this also helps correct the pull to the right that you'd normally get. It also seems to respond when turning and braking.
For more, check out the attached PDF. It has like 4 levels, and there are some differences in comfort mode, plus quite a few speed thresholds. So fancy. It also realizes when you are jacking the car up unlike some cars where you have to manually tell it to stop adjusting. This does it automatically.
I assess that it does a great job. ABC is probably on another level but also another level of complexity.
