And here's another way to get it done.

If I recall correctly, there is a 3/4 ton truck frame/powertrain under this body. This guy was on the SS forum.

That's cool but a pet peeve of mine is that I suspect the motorcycle engine is ungoverned. Meaning he either has to work the throttle from inside the truck manually as the engine loads up from different levels of snow, or he just cracks the throttle to some rpm and it does what it does. A larger, lower rpm, governed engine is the right thing. It's also pretty odd to see all that work on a vehicle that you could just put a 6 foot plow on. I guess it's not the destination but the journey, etc.

V8 snowblowers are a whole thing.

Same issue on this one though (ungoverned).

Or the ever-popular jet engine snow blower:

I need this:

But seriously, what a pain in the ass to buy a full sized vehicle just to clear the driveway a few times a year... If I go the Tahoe/Suburban route, that is literally all it will do over what I have now. Sure it might fit a slightly larger item in it than the RAV-4 but how many times will that happen? The Avalanche might be a little better for moving larger items but again how often will that happen.

I have thought about it a lot, it is really too bad the lawnmower attachment option isn't that great, since I need a good tractor anyway for the lawn. Maybe I am missing an option. If I am going to spend 3 to 4K on a vehicle to plow, what else would that buy?

Will this tow an 85 Monte Carlo SS?

That is 2WD. If you want to plow with 2WD, you basically need to put a sander on the back of it (and fill it with sand).

Scratch that, I didn't realize it was 2WD. I just thought it would be funny to be able to tow the Monte Carlo when it breaks down...
