Right front tpms is missing is the only notable thing from a road test, everything else seems good. Hopefully we can settle on a price.

Typical dealer we-don’t-know what the-best-price-is nonsense. Wait let me check…. Blah blah. I offered $8900 which is what they have it advertised at.

I think I’m going to push the tpms fix and try to get it for around there.

Wound up at $10,400. I’m kinda out of time and patience to shop around more.

Looks like I managed to buy a cat-less car.

$565 after two coupon codes.

Dealer appears to be unavailable per the parts lookup.

These guys seem to list one, but it doesn't match the Warwick Benz lookup PN:

Not sure they can legally sell with no cats.

And based on the Carfax it may not have had cats since 121k. Or it had failing cats first, then no cats eventually.

You better talk to them before much more time passes, before they claim you deleted your own cats and are trying to scam them or something. Carfax is fairly damning. But it's also not great that you looked at it underneath and bought it anyway. I don't know what it looks like under there but just thinking of their perspective. Either get money back for new cats plus maybe hassle, make them put good cats on it or something else...

My current plan is just to buy a cat and put it in - there’s only one and it’s in the downpipe. I did see the emissions failures but assumed they had to make it compliant to offer for sale. But I also had to sign that I reviewed the carfax. If it’s less than $2k I’m just going to buy it, put it in, and move on.

I did notice the aftermarket downpipe, but then saw the rest of the system was stock amg, so I figured they would’ve modded cat-back first. Didn’t occur to me they would just do a cat only delete.

I haven’t been able to get a hold of the Warwick parts counter to verify the pn or see what’s up with the unavailable note I see online.
