I guess the other question is "do I really need an extra 100 HP in a vehicle that already has 556?"

I wonder if it could squeak out an 11.9 with that setup.

Actually...it could potentially squeak out an 11.9 all stock with just sticky tires. Another 100 hp is probably good for mid 11s with regular tires and low 11s with those tires. I wonder if 10.9 is remotely possible.

Would it be trapping solidly into the 120s?

I would say yes.

That car looks really nice. I am impressed with how good it really looks to be honest. The black rims look great on that car, and they didn't go overboard and black out everything. Very tasteful in my opinion.

I think the black wheels are a factory option, which explains why it still looks tasteful.

I should have rolled up in my rental Charger R/T and test driven this while I was in Maine:

Holy shit, is that the Corvette dealer place?
You really should have. Fail!
I think these might take a big initial depreciation hit (they already have) and then stop and go back up.

Yes, this is at Corvettes North. I have a feeling the SS may not depreciate enough to ever truly be a good buy in the used market. I will keep an eye on it though.
