Ed noticed that my trailer hitch has a 2" receiver hole. Further inspection seems to reveal a Class III. I guess I can tow right up to 5,000 lbs! It doesn't have a trailer brake controller though. I think there is a requirement to use them over some weight that is less than 5,000. Still, it is nice to have a second vehicle on hand with this kind of tow rating. The brakes on the Ram are pretty atrociously bad (they need an overhaul) so I'd almost prefer to tow with the Roadmaster at the moment.

About 4,500 miles into oil change. Decided to check the level for the first time ever. It's at the top. LT1s are funny. They can leak a little and still don't consume any.

Ordered an oil filter adapter gasket and O-ring set. $6 shipped from Rockauto for AC Delco. Seems to come with both parts in the same P/N, at least according to the picture.

WTF!!
We are sorry to tell you our inventory records were incorrect and the item you ordered is out of stock. We were unable to obtain more from the manufacturer and we do not have any alternative parts from other manufacturers.

We have canceled your order.

Your credit card will not be charged.

We apologize for this inconvenience and hope you will give us another chance the next time you need auto parts.

I guess I can check Amazon or a dealer.

I will probably try a GM dealer. My choices are basically Paul Masse Buick GMC or Herb Chambers Cadillac. This part appears to be completely gone from Rockauto's listings. That is kind of scary.

In other news my external E-Zpass has still not arrived.

Ordered via Paul Masse. They do not stock it but seemed pretty confident it would arrive via local warehouse by tomorrow and I could pick it up Saturday.
