Not sure if it is a Brougham. It has some desirable things: Painted roof, chromed/polished wheels and the sunroof. If that sunroof is factory this thing is highly desirable.

It is priced accordingly. If it has any sun damage at all it is not worth the asking price though. Overall it looks pretty awesome, with an incomplete set of pics.

If it is a brougham with vinyl roof delete AND a factory astroroof this is one rare car.

Downside: It is a 96 FW so not only do I need additional software to tune it, but the FW is not directly compatible with my Caprice axle.

The 96 FW is at RTC Auto Sales in Exeter NH. I cannot find a website.

SPID.

I asked for pics of the interior and the SPID. I got the SPID. Should I be worried?

Too bad this isn't cheaper. It might be a good way to reuse some stuff from your Caprice.

Compnine sure is handy. Don't even have to decode the VIN manually. Think of the time savings.

Anyway it is definitely a base FW. Key points:
- 2.56 axle (boo)
- No AU0 (no keyless entry...I am annoyed by this)
- Factory sunroof!! CF5. Incredibly rare.
- FE1 as expected

Given that there are ways to add keyless entry (I don't know about adding a stock system, like if the wiring is all there or whether adding an aftermarket system would actually be easier), I guess it's not a show stopper.

I was hoping it was an R1P car with FE2 or something. Nope.

Oh, no Homelink, either. I would like that. If I could slip a module in there, that would be fantastic. I upgraded my 95 FWB Homelink to rolling code by using like a 99 Eldorado unit and it was plug and play. I would hope the spring loaded door thing is there.

I'm not sure it even has twilight sentinel! Man.

I never thought the Brougham was that fancy but the base has even less stuff.

I have to say I think the pros are still more in favor of this car than some other Brougham.

Pros:
- Factory moonroof. Incredibly rare.
- Base means painted roof which is awesome instead of the vinyl.
- No heated seat controls to rip the leather seats. Those controls were also a really hard point on the bolster that was just annoying and uncomfortable if you happened to sit on the edge. The heated seats were unlikely to work anyway so what's the point. Also this would not be a winter car.
- I like those chrome wheels. Even though I'd probably end up rocking the SS wheels.

Cons:
- No keyless entry
- No rear vanity mirrors (it was stripped from even the Brougham with the factory moonroof)
- No twilight sentinel
- 2.56 axle
- Possibly crappier stock stereo? I was OK with the Brougham one though it was nothing special. I'd probably upgrade this anyway.

The cons are annoying but in the long run the pros seem to outweigh them.

Here's some info.

I don't think this has memory seats, either. I'm not sure what kind of power seats it has even. Like does it even have power recline?
