I wonder what the issue is.
The rims are already sold.

So I'm kind of on Roadmaster overload. Been looking through Search Tempest.

Random thoughts on year:
96 has the OBD-II benefit (at least I think it is a benefit for swapping, a demerit as long as the LT1 is in there as I have to buy something in order to tune it)
94-95, still get the LT1 but OBD-I so sniffer tests for the next few years
92-93, could get the L05 to be tolerable and these have better factory gauges and may be a bit cheaper. I hope there is a way to change the gauge cluster on the 94-96 because it sucks.

Linkage:
Some dishonesty going on here. Pics show at least two different cars (and years) http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/5289132867.html

(not sure Maryland and Penn is the south but I suppose that beats New England) http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/5279058147.html

$1000, needs fuel pump. No idea on rust. If there isn't it's actually a really good price because:
New Transmission
New Radiator
New Tires

The seller is a comedian:
The only thing is the drivers side mirror will probably need replacement
Dude, probably??? That shit is falling off. I know that isn't a huge deal, it is just funny.

I am highly amused that a startling portion of these cars require mirror replacement. My Fleetwood did.

Why is that? Poor GM build quality? Older owners running into stuff?

The mirrors don't fall off. They get smashed off, probably from old people running into stuff.

Or middle aged people pushing rolling trash bins past them in cold temps... I would think...

I like that Torrington RMW.. You should get that one. I have some decent tank straps you could paint up and install with the fuel pump. Fuel pump is an afternoon job on these cars... If it's empty.

A motorcycle lift works well for lowering the tank. I have that too.

Yes, I saw this one before. It was so clean, I was looking for a 1996 date stamp on the photo :)
