I guess they hope sunk cost bias plays a role in the buyer's decision making process.

Money talks and bullshit takes the bus.
I mean everything about this is above average except not having pictures... Usually bullshit walks. And even that doesn't really make sense...

Finally, a real hotrod Fleetwood. This is just a sample of what "the scene" was doing when I was a part of it.

This is a special car perhaps only because it is very rare to see a ZF 6-speed swapped from the 90-96 C4. By all accounts it is a much nicer shifting transmission than the T56. Probably a lot more expensive, too.

Text me for faster reply thankyou.

Hi I have for sale a 1996 Cadillac fleetwood last year production gold with tan interior. It's now got a 425hp 383 engine and a zf corvette 6 speed manual transmission.

All the built credit goes to the previous owner/seller pics below!!

On 5-27-2017 I bough the car from Oklahoma City and drove it back 1200miles. She ran and drove perfect even with the Ac on the whole time and cruise control. It averaged 22mpg for this trip.

All I did after the purchase was to drive and put miles on it.Then I cleaned the front leathers seats. I've Also added a scan gauge 2 to show the rpm mpg and various temps.

I'm not looking to make money just selling to recouped what I've got invested in it. It's now title insured and ready to go to a person who can truly enjoy this one off custom built car.

This would be a neat little (big) car to bring to shows and cruise ins you'll never see another one.

The major reason for the sale is because my lovely wife's not a fan of look stating that it's a grandpa type of car. I'm 29years old

Also it's a big car at 225in long it's 1 inch longer than a chevy suburban!
So watch where you park!

(7500 miles on it and counting)

Last seller said 425hp but with the ported heads and cam I'm thinking it's more like 450-500hp it sure feels quick for a 4600lb car.

This car was built to be fast and stylish. The D-body Cadillacs are based on the same chassis as the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS, Chevy Caprice, and Buick Roadmaster with only a longer wheelbase separating them. Coincidentally, all of the speed parts built for the Impala ss fits the Cadillac.

It has a nice clean interior and is a proven daily driver.

Just put almost 2000miles on it In 1 week!

Also It just received new brakes, new wheel bearings, new belts, new hoses, new starter, new battery cables, new shocks, and new wheels and tires.

The interior, imo, is only average in terms of both condition and how well integrated the manual is. Mechanically, the work looks good. The color combo is also not going to fetch top dollar.

2015 CTS wheels are an interesting choice. Never seen that before. Must be running adapters.

Wow - ZF 6-speed. I have been to the plant that made those in Georgia.

Suburban has a lot more room than a B-body in every measurable way. But yeah they are long...

I saw this one previously. The issues inside don't really go with the price. Though the condition appears good otherwise.
Last of the rear-wheel drive full frame Cadillacs - $5500 (Edison, NJ)
Rare find. Very few of these vehicles are for sale. Elegant, flashy 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham luxury 4-door sedan. Burgundy with matching faux convertible top. Camel interior. Leather 6-passenger seating. Powerful 5.7 liter LT-1 V-8 with multiport fuel injection. 6-speed automatic transmission. Surprising highway gas mileage, runs on regular. Can haul up to 7,500 lbs. Traction control, level control, ABS, climate control and CD/Tape player all in perfect working condition. Carefully driven and in perfect mechanical condition; well-maintained. All service records available. Oil changed at 3,000 mile intervals. No body rust. Some cosmetic defects such as a cracked dashboard and splits in the driver's seat and a few accessory failures. Must be seen and driven to be appreciated. I am the second owner. Price is negotiable.
131,500 miles.

I don't like the aftermarket vinyl top treatment. I do like the polished/chromed wheels.

My ears perked up when he referenced the 7,500 lb towing capacity (of course the V4P is 7,000 but whatever). I ran the VIN and it does not have V4P or 3.42 gears. I should have known - he also said it has a 6-speed automatic so...

My god these cars are still popping up.

This looks like a carbon copy of my car. Not in NJ, either.

In fact on my saved CL search, there are a total of 4 white STSs with 18" wheels so probably 1SG. One is a 2007 and is that $7500 one in NJ. One is RWD with a salvage title. But yeah.
