The front bumper has some scraping from parking lot stuff but the rest does look clean and that is pretty low mileage (half mine). But at 7 grand I don't know if I would have gone for this. Also the pic of his kids on the elevator (and general ad layout) is kind of questionable.

I think for something like this, spending more for a lower mileage example probably isn't worth it.

I just feel like I'd have the same issues at any mileage (within reason) so why pay extra? Put another way, if you are DIY capable and willing, a 60k mile car (any car) is most likely not the best value. But if you are looking for a warranty or have a shop do work, that equation changes around.

I would want to start with a much nicer car, which will cost more money. The ideal candidate would probably be high mileage but rust free, good paint and good interior. But also something like that 94 Fleetwood would was extremely clean and pretty low miles (105k) which I could just have stock for as long as I wanted before I did any work on it. I'd like that, too.

2007 Cadillac STS 4 Platinum - $925 (Hazlet/Holmdel)
Not Awesome Condition - BUT,priced to sell. It will run and get you around. Still makes the trip to Atlantic city and back once a month.
problems:
- drivers window wont go up on its own
- radio makes no sound (gps radio etc)
- right blinker is out
- missing passenger side-view mirror (mirror fell off and is in trunk)
- front fender was replaced and is not painted
- passenger door will sometimes wont open from the outside
- driver side back seat door is permanently on child lock
- car cannot exceed 80mph (see console message)
- front passenger tire pressure doesn't read (see console message tire pressure false warning)
- suspension message on console
