Here are your Accord V6 Coupe numbers, for 33K:
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/201 ... est-review
Zero to 60 mph: 5.5 sec
Standing ΒΌ-mile: 14.1 sec @ 101 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 159 ft
Roadholding, 200-ft-dia skidpad: 0.86 g
You are still wrong!

For comparison a base V6 2010 Camary is 3461 lbs with 268 hp. With its aggressive axle ratio and 6 speed auto, it is about as quick as an LT1 B-body. Cars.com lists it at 14.8 @ 96 mph.

What point are we making again? Japanese V6 sedans are about as fast as a similar year V6 Camaro?

Next time I get a chance (hopefully tonight) I will launch my "gen 5 V6 Camaro sucked" campaign.

Yes, and certain versions (like a V6 Accord coupe) can probably be configured to do more than just be a little quicker. It's more than comparing any single number. The Gen 5 V6 Camaro wasn't satisfying to drive, from what I recall (haven't driven one but that doesn't mean I can't make the point). The Gen 6 V6 is. The Gen 6 raises the bar and that will be a good thing - and will legitimize the V6 pony car. However, it is entirely possible (and likely) that if the gen 6 V6 is a more credible sports coupe than, say, a G37 (or whatever they're calling it now), most buyers won't care. But I think that is hugely significant in terms of how good the car is.
I will look into it soon. I did find references to V6 pony cars in C/D's 2016 Accord test, which is interesting. This is not a new concept.

No it isn't. The base is a 4 cylinder. This car you are talking about would be competing with the 33K SS.

Sounds great! I just found a nice 2010 V6 Camaro for $13K. I'm going to run out and buy it.
Said no one ever.

Yes, the base Camary is a 4 cylinder. There were a few models that came with the V6 (either standard or optional), I was referencing the weight of the least-fancy one.

I forgot to add "but with more torque-steer".

The bottom line for me is, for 23K, the V6 gen 5 Camaro didn't suck. It would have had more performance for the dollar than any car that it would be competing with at that price point.
