My favorite part is pics 2 through 5. Not because they are duplicates, but because he actually took 4 different, but similarly composed pictures and uploaded them ALL.

Probably looked at them for a while, and after not being able to determine the best one, posted all of them so they didn't have to think about it anymore... LOL

I finally got the gauges done in python thanks to a gauge library I found. I modified it a lot, including adding the values going around the gauges, the ranges, the layout, and the labels. I got it pretty stripped as 1 gauge. It is cool because the gauge is an object, so I ended up making a file for each gauge, with each being customized. The gauge file actually probably could have been one class that took enough parameters to customize each but the similarities between gauges were not as obvious when I started...

The plan is to integrate the OBD over USB python library I found to this front end. Should be easy since it is python to python instead of when I was trying to integrate it with QT. QT worked, but was a beast to get working on a Raspberry Pi, which I figure is the target platform for a car. In the end, the Pi couldn't handle rendering the QT graphic fast enough and it was terrible.

The Textbox and 2 buttons on the top will go away and were just there for manual input testing.
