Funny write -up:
I just purchased this 2011 Chevrolet Caprice Police Pursuit Vehicle. It passed MD inspection right away (see images) I also put Raybestos Police Grade front & rear rotors and front & rear brake pads. Unfortunately I drove my wife in it 130 MpH and she got scared I'll kill myself and she'd made me swear that I will sell it... So, I purchased it from a dealer who got it from Ohio University used as campus security vehicle. 3 holes drilled for light bar and antennas. Rear doors inside covered with panels. Behind the panels there are working hardware, just need rear door interior handles. 81K miles 6.0 Liter V-8 engine, 355 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque with 6-speed automatic transmission. Max speed 160 MPH Very well maintained and very clean with almost new OEM tires and new Raybestos police grade front & rear rotors and front & rear brake pads. 4 wheel independent HD Police suspension, HD Powertrain, Cooling, Limited Slip Rear Wheel Drive, Stainless Steel Exhaust, High Output Alternator, Antilock Four Wheel Disc Brakes, Stabilitrak Suspension W/Traction Control, Dual Stage Frontal Air Bags with Side Impact Head Curtain for Driver and Passenger, Dual Power Mirrors, Power Windows and Door Locks, Cruise Control, Steering Wheel Media, CD & Radio Controls, Bucket Seats, 8-way Power Drivers Seat, 8 way Power Passenger Seat, Dual Zone Air Conditioning, Button Power Trunk Release, Tilt/Telescopic steering Wheel, Rear Window Defogger, Remote Keyless Entry, Rated 155 MPH, 2nd Auxiliary Battery, Spare Wheel and Tire. $14k? You can get a V1 for less and it's faster and handles better. Smaller and manual only though.

I didn't say it was a good deal, I just included a link to a PPV auction. These can be had for sub 10k, but they go pretty quick.

Thanks to the miricle of the internet, you can buy a demilitarized MIG-21 from Poland for about $150k!

That's 10 times as much as the Craigslist z06, but it goes mach 2

This is like the E55 AMG of planes. You can afford to buy it, but can you afford to operate and maintain it?

I realize this may not score very high on the bang for the buck metrics, but it is cool to see any unmodified high mileage version for a somewhat reasonable price. http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/5740835155.html

I wonder what the oil consumption is like :)
