Or 94-96 Roadmaster cluster.

This one would actually be more acceptable to me than what's currently in the base CTS/ATS.

Damn, the formerly $19,995 SS looks nice:

I wish I could have acted on this somehow. I have a feeling I could have driven it for a couple years and not lost a dime.

I agree. I am working towards "I have $XX,XXX in an account and I'm going to do whatever I want with it." That approach does give me some flexibility when I see a deal.

Man that is like brand new. That would really have been a pretty good score at $20k.

2014 Vsport Premium, 69k miles, $26,480 at a dealer in Raleigh. They have had this on their lot for a while and the price keeps dropping.

That has the Kona brown seats you like. Worth a look I think. Is the mileage too high? You could get an extended warranty for probably less than the difference in cost to one with like 39k or whatever.

I think buying a high mileage car makes sense for me for the following reasons:
- Purchase price is lower. My current buying constraints prioritize purchase price over value.
- The miles are more likely to be highway (low wear on car).
- I tend to drive below average mileage so after a few years what was a high mileage car will be an average mileage car.
This particular example is a 1 owner Florida car. I like silver as a daily driver color and it has the leather I like so that's a plus.
The only major drawback I can see to buying a high mileage car is the expectation that I keep the car for 5-8 years. Do I really dare to drive a Vsport with 150k+? I would feel a lot better about a 150k mile SS, but I don't like the SS as much right now.
