Wow. Talk about shitty. Sweet badge inside the tach. Why would somebody think that the Monte Badge should be in a dashed and dotted circle? I can't believe they didn't use a different cluster for this car vice using the SS cluster with half of the stuff. This is far worse than plastic button spacers where an option would be but you didn't buy.

Your incredulity is surprising. It's like you forgot about 80s and 90s cars where they practically shamed you when buying the low trim. TONS of crappy subcompacts sold, with manual transmissions, with NO TACH. Those were (not) the days.

Meanwhile, my 91 Ranger XLT had upgraded gauges with tach, (fake) oil pressure, coolant, volts, fuel. Half of that stuff was not standard.

It also had a different speedo. The SS had a 115mph speedo in '87 and '88.

Wait a minute. Severe ball busting about to ensue...

This is more than twice what you are willing to pay for a Caprice, it needs a paint job, has a ripped driver's seat has potential cigarette burns in the back seat, and there are no good pictures of the common rot areas except a poor pic of the rear where there may be rot in front of the back tire... and he mentions that it doesn't drive straight. No big deal... It also looks like there is possible rust on the outside bottom of the passenger door, and there appears to be a hole cut out of the passenger door, maybe a speaker WAS there (not factory). A wire or something is hanging out of the dash/instrument cluster area.

The stock rims look good though and damn what a good looking car. Everyone should drive a G-Body. These things sound really good even with the stock setup. This was one of the last generations where cars were designed with style and not all with the same aerodynamic econobox theme. I will own one of these again.
