Mine are like that plus 90 degrees. I better look it up before your struts fall out ...

I’ve made this confusing with torque struts and strut-struts. I’m most worried about the front suspension struts. The engine torque strut/motor mounts are fine with good’n’tite.

I re-read google ai answer - it was/is 81 ft lbs + 90 deg.

I did that. It does feel slightly excessive but not overly so for that size fastener.

Top motor mount strut rattle is gone, seems smoother and better. I’ll know a little more after really test driving to ma in the morning. Doesn’t seem like my minor realignment made any driveability difference which I guess is good:

81 lb-ft plus 90d was correct.
