Surely this has been sold by now if it's as good as advertised:

I still like this option. Who cares if the paint isn't perfect the first couple years.

This car fulfills a theoretical requirement of a cheap SS with little to no rust. I am not sure that is my requirement.

If this isn't the Caprice replacement, what is? A Roadmaster for the same price?

The thing is, I don't know. What I should probably do is go look at that car. That will likely help inform whether that is the direction I want to go. I am not getting very far from behind the keyboard.

Price went up to $2000?
Real purple 1995 Impala ss 180k miles...comes with 96 console and shifter..has exhaust otherwise its stock...needs tires, windshields cracked and could use a few odds and ends but runs and drives...interiors not shredded carpets ripped but seats aren't ...car was brought up from SC so it's rust free unlike every other one in New England $2000firm text
So 96 console installed. But he left the 95 cluster. Some kind of exhaust (mine is compatible anyway). Needs tires. I have tires. Windshield crack, that is another, what, $350? Odds and ends? Who the hell knows what's broken.
Seats are not shredded, but carpet is ripped? Ugh.
