Ideas for Youtube shows... Just brainstorming, then you downselect from everyone's ideas later.

What cars are the most fun for snowy parking lots? (Caprice would be a good benchmark for that...) Could actually include tips on snow driving.. if you want to have a serious portion. Need at least one AWD car for cyclones.. some FWD's for J-turns and e-brakes.. and a parking lot that allows this..

Cheapest commuter? could even rebrand it as 'cheapest pizza guy car' I'm talking 1985 corollas you can see daylight though.. tercels... Priuses... Saturns you cant have a conversation in... Again an argument for the caprice could be made.

How old does a boring car have to be to be cool... Remember that old Toyota corona? How about a Plymouth valiant? Dodge colt? 6 cyl/base model versions of things that were muscle cars.. Things that were were shitty when new, but become interesting. Could interview the owners even.. Maybe include a 30 second segment about the cars as a 'break' from the larger show...

Following a LeMons team for a race weekend.. The ups, the downs, and the beer.... Maybe even start with the weeks leading up to this... Everyone dreams about joining.. Not many people actually know what it takes. Magazine articles about it just don't do it justice. 'cause words.

The obvious.. and ultimate.. At least in terms of cost in time and money.. buying a car somewhere outside the 'rust belt' and driving it home. Would only be possible if the show ended up with its own budget. and only interesting if it broke down a lot. Or made a lot of money on it.

Roadside repairs... What have you done? What can conceiveably be done? TV and movies have you believe you can fix anything... And some people do... But are you really gonna replace that Alternator on the side of the road?

Some stuff I jotted down so far:

Everything vs. the Caprese
New car vs. old that costs the same
How to make a car fast w/mods or weight reduction

Best used cars to buy
Worst used cars to buy

Modifications, not just for speed
A how to segment
A Repair It segment, maybe maintenance stuff too.

Keep or sell

And sleepers, including cars easily made fast that weren't that way factory. This could take some engineering.
Maybe removing some things for weight reduction and adding modest add-ons. Things that were almost quick, but need a little bump.

And drag races. Maybe stock, maybe bolt ons, definitely no drag radials. Actually, definitely no definitely.

I really like new vs old that costs the same! Just need the budget to actually buy and live with cars.. Or do it through interviews... This guy bought a new fusion.. This guy bought a ten year old M5.. Who's happier, who's broker, who's really in denial..

I also like non performance mods.. How much sound deadening does it take to make my shitty Saturn into a Fleetwood? (all the sound deadening... In the world) Are you buying a new car just to have Bluetooth? Cause you can just install a $100 stereo instead and save yourself $500... A month....

The performance based ones are really cool, but we need a legal dragstrip... Or a really short on ramp.. Or an empty passing zone with a ' staged' slow car. Maybe my rmw can get involved in this one! Or, for honest slowness.. The ranger. The cool part of those tests is that they're legal AND they're real world situations.

Joke segment.. "How to tell the difference between different generic mini SUVs... A Field Guide". This is a RAV4.. You can tell because.. Oh crap, I lost interest again..

The RAV 4 is extra exciting because it started life as a Corolla.

The Highlander is similarly exciting because it's on the Camry platform. Not. And no amount of RMW placement in Highlander commercials where the 10 year old kid in the back is the coolest in the school will change that.

Oh god.

I didn't know that about the SUV platforms but it makes perfect sense. Can a ten year old still rode in the back of an RMW??

I thought they had to ride in car seat until they were old enough to drive... Which reminds me of another topic... Car safety/ child safety over the years. Start with the rope that our parents got to hold onto in the back seat, and the two door wagons used before the invention of child safety locks.. Get to shoulder belts and the incredibly complicated car seats of our youth.. I know the RMW is really not set up for rear facing.. Because that really wasn't a thing yet. Then the LATCH system and modern car seats..

That might not be that funny.. So maybe it's a 30 second time elapse video..
