So let me break the ice on this topic. Pool covers, who knew? Who really gave it any thought? Not me. I probably would have had the same reaction as Tom Brady about why do I need 2 separate pool covers (note, only time I had a pool growing up was when I was about 6-8th grade and I know I wasn't asked to help out other than cleaning the pool and checking the PH balance and adding more chlorine as necessary, nothing to do with opening or closing the pool for the year).

I have to admit I enjoy seeing the human side of Tom Brady through these emails. No one likes being taken for a ride even when you are worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

I don't recall "sports discussion" appearing in the charter for this forum.

I'm just mad that you don't need help with your pool cover.

This is a valid pool topic/conversation so why did it get moved to General Lounge? Yes, it involves a sports figure, but it's discussing the creditability of buying a $9,000 pool cover for winter.

...and the pool forum just lost its only topic.

I was kidding about being mad, but this is definitely a general lounge discussion. Each of the topics other than the Other and News sections are for actual repair type discussion. Just the same, if he had some kind of engine problem and spent $100,000 on a new engine for a Range Rover, that wouldn't go in the Engine section...still General.

I say to leave it up to the people, who thinks this topic belongs in the Pool section of the forum?
